We shall never forget!  How could any American?  7 years ago today was THE defining moment of my lifetime.  The sad memories are as alive now as they were at this moment 7 years ago.  Such tragedy, such a waste of valuable lives, but also such incredible bravery.  If you need a place to remember, here is a partial listing of events in the area today.  Pray for those who have fallen, our heroes, survivors and God bless our troops!

** Ceremonies are underway as I write this at the city Public Safety Building on Exchange and the Greece Ridge FD on Long Pond Rd.

** 12 noon cermony @ the Brockport Firefighter Memorial Monument on Main St.

** 12:30pm cermony @ Mead Park on Main St. Victor.

** 7pm cermony at the American Legion on Main St. in Canandaigua, followed by a candlelight service @ 7:30pm.

** 7pm ceremony @ Veterans Memorial Park on North Ave. in Webster.

** 7pm Firefighter Mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Flower City Park with Bishop Clark.

I’ll be off for a week and return here next Wed.  Please don’t ever forget how our world changed on September 11th, 2001.  God bless our heroes and troops.
