The Gov. & glasses
Thursday, September 4th, 2008Did you catch Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s speech at the Republican Convention last night? No matter what your political philosophy is, you have to admit she is an accomplished speaker. She had the partisan crowd in the palm of her hands, fired up and ready to go. Like her or not politically, she is a compelling story and she’s caused a stir in the race for the White House. Time will tell how it all plays out, but she has already had an effect on the struggling economy. Reports indicate that some women are now inquiring about her choice of eyeware. Yes…her glasses! They’re a hit. My research indicates her style is a Kawasaki 704, color 34 gray. If you’re looking for them, the Gov’s frame cost approximately $375 but can go as much as $700. Can’t you see your girl, aunt or librarian wearing them now? Maybe John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate to stimulate the economy. She certainly has caught the dems off guard, and the media isn’t quite sure how to deal with her. Before her national “coming out” speech, the media was trying to dig up as much dirt as possible about her, saying she is under qualified, and now the pundits are praising her speech. She certainly has made the race alot more interesting, hasn’t she? We’ll see tonight if John McCain can screw up the momentum the Gov. has brought to the campaign.
Sarah Palin and the rest of the GOP speakers rightfully were pointing out Sen. McCain’s service to America as a war hero. God bless all of our troops!
